The author talk (talks)about that the connection between stable workforce and profitability has been made quite clear, and most people believe that different backgrounds, race and field work together could produce excellent results in paragraph 8 to 9. I find several new words, such as consciousness and prospective. I am played with a problem, many long words can’t remember (be remembered), I always forget what studied the new words yesterday. When I write essay, often look up in the dictionary. What should I do?

Manager should know what the workers care about. Most workers nowadays want meaning in their work and balance in their lives(我感觉有问题), and they are likely to work for an ethical company that acts in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. So companies should try to design work, change attitudes and conditions to make works more meaningful. In addition, it said that only when live to work do we live nobly.

In china, people place more emphasis on fact that a steady and high salary job is a (the)best future; they don’t want (to) give up the good job and change an unknown work. The author talks about [says] that he? [She] shows off when his some poems were published at the first time in paragraph 17 to 18. He is lack self-restrained. There are six dashes in this section, and two used in the one sentence. For example, “for we know very well—I certainly know—that if we’d been that lucky lady”. I don’t understand why use dash in here. Obviously, the first dash front and back both are same meaning. Another question is the sentence “I’ll lay my cards right on the table and confess”, it is hard to understand.

In my part, sometimes we should flaunt, not show off. When we have a great success, we can share the joy with friends or stranger. This is a way to shout our talents or triumphs to the word. Though, essentially, exulting and showing off are the same. Exulting is filled with admiration or astonishment. Showoffs are hated by other people.

It is really difficult to live in this city. Some people like you, someone not. We could not control people’s emotion [feelings]; however, we cannot live lonely. Do we what we want?
